About me
I'm a BSc Honours Computer Science student at Stellenbosch University, where I also completed my undergraduate BSc in Computer Science. I enjoy building software that is both technically robust and genuinely useful to the people who use it.
Throughout my studies I've worked on projects ranging from full-stack web applications and mobile apps to networking, concurrent systems, scientific software and more. While I enjoy solving technical problems, what excites me most is the intersection between software and people. I'm particularly interested in software engineering, human-computer interaction (HCI), and designing systems that provide a great user experience. I'm also fascinated by artificial intelligence and I'm looking forward to exploring machine learning in greater depth during the last semester of my honours studies. Outside of coding, I enjoy collaborating with others, learning new technologies, and sharing some of my experiences through the blog on this website.

Career goals
I'm looking for an opportunity to grow as a software engineer while working alongside an experienced team. I enjoy collaborating with people, learning from those around me, and contributing to projects where thoughtful design and good engineering go hand in hand. At this stage of my career, I'm more interested in joining a team where I can continue learning than in specialising too early. Software engineering, HCI, and AI are the areas I'm most excited to explore, and I'm always keen to take on new challenges that help me develop both technically and professionally. I believe the best software comes from combining solid engineering with thoughtful design and collaboration.
